David M. Foster III bio

I was Born in Louisville, KY. Later moved to Las Vegas in 1991. I’m a cat who grew up in the Golden Era of Hip-Hop (1985-1989) . When I was around 10 or 11 I remember seeing my brother Steve rap and rock a crowd at The Boys Club in Las Vegas around 1981-82 .I seen how he captivated the crowd and I said I wanna do that . I start writing my little raps. In 1991 I moved to Las Vegas . I knew Tony Mayo and Terry Beals .We started a rap group. Later Terry and I would release an independent album through Sony/Black Market Records out of Sacramento. We got screwed over by the business side of the game and a shady record label owner. But it was a learning experience. So still being into music later around 1994 me and Demarlo Beals started DJing local parties, and weddings. Later we started DJing on our own. I am currently married to Sharonda Manor-Foster and a father of three children. My first two from my previous marriage .My son Austin Berry 29, daughter Aleigha Foster 27, and then our daughter together Davion Foster 26. Also I have 3 grandchildren. Ace 6 ,Faith 4 and Carter 4. I am a man of God who has changed my life over the years for the better. Through spiritual growth and maturity. Thanks in part to my Pastor Dr. Naida M. Parson at New Antioch Christian Fellowship @Aliante in North Las Vegas ,NV. My wife is the associate pastor over there as well.

My current day job is at U.P.S where I’ve been for 15 years. It’s a grind but it has provided a good living for me and my family .It also feeds all my hustles.

I’ve always had a interest in self development and motivation since i can remember .It’s kind of in my DNA. There are certain friends and acquaintances’ that I’ve always chopped it up on a deeper level. We talk on life, hustles ,grind and mentality.

Around 2012 I started getting more into writing and blogging. Which led me to start The Life On Purpose blog. On the blog I review books, and have informative blog posts that challenge you to live you life on purpose.Then in 2018 I started The We Level Up Podcast. Which has now been renamed The D.Fos Podcastin 2020 A podcast where I talk to people all walks of life and industries. i like to provide insight, inspiration and information to self empower. The podcast is in video format on my Youtube channel as well

In 2017 I started a Social Media Marketing & Consulting firm Fosflav Media .I did marketing and promotions for the music industry with Rory McCaillster back in the day. So I transferred those skills to a new industry.
